“ This place is a great spot for sushi and Japanese food. They can sometimes be swamped, so please give them time and patients; typically, there are only two servers for the whole restaurant. All the food that they serve you is so delicious! I brought my mom here about a day ago, and before that, my friend and I had been here a couple of times--all my experiences were great, and the food is even better than most Japanese restaurants in Lexington. I recommend this place for great Japanese food :) ”
“ Honestly a pretty damn solid Japanese place. Their ramen is delicious and so is the sushi. Didn't expect to find this hidden by the half priced books. ”
“ I have never been to one of these restaurants until today for my son’s birthday. He is really into ramen. The atmosphere was great and our service was so great! The lady that was taking care of us was so kind and the food was amazing. Will definitely be back. ”
“ We had a great time here a robotic sushi and ramen spot that feels like stepping into the future. Tablets take your order, and your food arrives via a sleek conveyor belt system or robot adding a playful, high-tech vibe much like you’d expect in an original sushi restaurant in Tokyo. It’s a fun experience that keeps you entertained throughout the meal. The sushi and ramen were both fresh and satisfying—definitely good, though not mind-blowing. Still, the overall concept and smooth operation more than made up for any culinary shortfalls. It’s an ideal spot for a casual night out or to impress friends with something different. The novelty factor earns it a five-star review, even if the food alone might land closer to four. Totally worth the visit. ”
“ My fiance took us here for dinner and the food was delicious! Their takoyaki and pork chashu buns were scrumptious, and the specialty rolls as well as the sushi were also all amazing. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with Japanese lanterns, has a breathtaking bar, beautiful Japanese art all over the walls, a big cherry blossom tree in their foyer, and a lovely omakase bar. Our server was attentive and lovely, and they also had a cute robot server that helped bring our food out! It’s also right next to a bubble tea place, which I would love to try! I highly recommend coming here for delicious, authentic Japanese food. I need to come back and enjoy their ramen! ”
“ Best Ramen and sushi in Kentucky! I love the tonkotsu ramen and pork bun so much. The ramen is so good and they make the noodle freshly every morning. The waitress is friendly and familiar with all dishes they have. Non doubt recommendation and will definitely come again! ”
“ WHERE has this restaurant been all my life? The variety of sushi is unreal. The ingredients taste high quality and the fact that sushi is already rotating on the bar means you can immediately sit down and eat. No wait times. And there are more "specialty" items you can order from the menu, including hot sake and desserts. The whole set-up is just really original and fun. Great atmosphere, too. The interior has a uniquely Japanese feel and all of the wait staff are prompt. I'll be dropping by as often as I can spare. Incredible experience. ”
“ A friend and I came In Saturday for lunch around 1pm. There wasn’t a wait, we were seated promptly and greeted in a very friendly manner. The menu is small which imo is a great sign of house made food. We had the Gyoza- pork dumplings as a starter, wrappers made fresh in house and perfectly seasoned and cooked. Then we both got the spicy crunchy salmon roll for 8.50 great price and the roll was very fresh. And a good price for a roll. Then we got the volcano roll, it was fantastic. It’s labeled as spicy but it is not, I cannot handle any spice and ate this comfortably and got the bad daddy roll again fantastic and flavorful. My friend and I were big on blue sushi in town and yes that’s great but what makes this different is that they don’t tip their rolls with tons of Mayo and sauces, the rolls don’t need it, they stand on their own. Our waiter which I assume was an owner? He was the best he gave us info on the restaurant as well as shook both our hands and welcomed us for coming in. We didn’t try the ramen this time but no worries, we will be back in probably 2 week. Our only complaint is the seating, the chairs are very small and uncomfortable. ”
